But, of course, veterinarian Matt McGlasson had other plans.
Dr. McGlasson said: “My staff knew I had a soft prop for cats – we saved and restored four kittens during COVID while our kids were studying at home. study at home. “They asked the client to sign the cat for me.”
After examining the cat, Dr. McGlasson knew there was no reason to take it down and instead decided to help it heal and then find it a perfect permanent home.
With the help of his TikTok followers, Dr. McGlasson decided to name his sweet cat Nemo.
Unfortunately, Nemo’s leg was injured beyond repair and had to be amputated. But luckily, the surgery went well, and everyone is eager to help Nemo adjust to life as a three-legged cat. When Nemo heals, it is clear that he is grateful to everyone for taking good care of him.
“It’s the most beautiful cat you’ve ever met,” said Dr. McGlasson. “[He] loves everyone.”
Since he already has a cat at home, Dr. McGlasson isn’t sure he can adopt Nemo on his own – but instead, one of the vet technicians fell in love with Nemo and became his permanent home.
“[He] is doing great work,” said Dr. McGlasson. “Likes being a domestic cat, and he walks very well on three feet.”
When Nemo first went to the vet’s office, everyone knew he deserved the chance to live a happy life in a forever home, and that’s exactly what they gave him.
