“He’s spoilt and sluggish, but he’s also affectionate,” Ida adds. He constantly demands our attention and shouts if we don’t give it to him. He’s continually moving so he can see both of us; he enjoys a nice snuggle but despises faces.”
“As a kitten, he would frequently stop what he was doing and strike the floor instead, and he has no ball control.” We also believe he suffers from claustrophobia. He has a thing for feet. LOVES.”
She noted that Isola was enjoying the fact that his people were now spending most of their time at home with him; all that extra attention must be wonderful when you’re accustomed to being ‘human free’ during the day.
Then Ida had the brilliant idea of discreetly filming him for less than an hour while he was left alone in the flat. When she watched the video again, she couldn’t believe her eyes. (to see the video, scroll below)
She chuckled at first, especially when he booped the camera, but after seeing what he did and hearing his tears, she was heartbroken.
Ida decided to share the video on social media, and she received a lot of feedback encouraging her to have another cat.
Ida explained to everyone that she already had a second cat and that she had left the apartment to take the other cat to the doctor for a senior exam.
Funny enough, Isola completely disregarded Ida upon her return, but he was overjoyed to see his feline pal. So Ida snapped a photo of the two of them together to illustrate that he isn’t always alone.
