Hope For Paws learned about an abandoned dog and set out for rescue. One day, the dog’s owner just disappeared leaving the pup to fend for himself at the old trailer. No one knows what happened, but now Klaus needed rescue. He didn’t trust other humans, so it would not be easy…
So they decided to lure Klaus into a large humane trap. They set it and observed from a distance, and then they worked to get the dog out of the hot sun as soon as possible. He was taken to CARES for a bath and checkup, and it was there that Klaus learned to trust his rescuers. The dog is making great progress and will never have to worry about being abandoned again. 🙂
