Saint Vincent, a 10-year-old Shepherd mix, was rescued after a Good Samaritan spotted a moving plastic bag near a waste can on the Jackie Robinson Parkway in New York. The individual detected breathing within the bag and promptly contacted the New York Police Department (NYPD).
The NYPD contacted New York Bully Crew, a dog rescue organization that rescues numerous abused and neglected dogs. Veterinarians estimate that the dog may have been confined in the bag for up to a week!
Saint Vincent preserved n’s life despite the cruel actions of the individual who abandoned him to perish.
However, he was in terrible condition when discovered.
“As I stated, he was bleeding from the nostrils, and his mouth was taped shut.” Carla Mhan of the New York Bully Crew told WABC. “He was drenched with sewage. He is completely covered in urinary burns.”
