The dog was trying to warn her owners of the fire that had been raging outside the house. Her fourplex apartment had been on fire, so much so that the neighborsโ home was destroyed. The fire was racing fastly towards their house when the dog set into action.
Nana said that it was then that she realized that her cousinโs home next door was on fire when she saw that, she too rushed towards her bedroom. When she reached the room, she saw that Sasha was dragging Nanaโs daughter by her diaper.
She said, โIf it werenโt for Sasha then we would have never made out of the house alive, she is our hero, our savior.โ
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they were able to rescue the entire building but failed to save Nanaโs and her cousinโs apartment. Nana and family are currently staying with one of their relatives who live in the same building as them.
