The restaurant of Gerardo Ortiz, Ajilalo in Peru, has had an exceptional and somewhat unusual client for the past five years. At the entrance to the restaurant, a homeless dog wandering the streets decided to stop with a torched look that indicated he was hungry.

The man’s kindness and generosity quickly spread to the many other strays in the town. Soon, more dogs began to arrive, and Gerardo welcomed them with a delicious meal.

Currently, Gerardo and his restaurant are visited by many homeless dogs, some regular customers, and others just passing through. The good-hearted man is offering them delicious food so they can satisfy their hunger, which is, of course, something they have in common.
