The small dog was found abandoned in a cardboard box
We’d like to believe that everyone loves animals and would work to protect them, but we are aware that this is far from the truth.
The fact is that there are some people who would be more than willing to ignore an animal in distress. Some individuals even purposefully harm animals or leave litter on the streets.
Nobody knows what happened to a small dog named Bean, although it seems probable that her upbringing was not ideal.
The little puppy was discovered inside a cardboard box. If it weren’t bad enough, the dog had medical problems that resulted in her having a large tummy and enlarged legs.
Little Bean had fluid in her tummy, which rescuers found out when they took her to the doctor. Uncertain medical conditions may have contributed to the fluid build-up, which significantly reduced her quality of life.
Fortunately, a little bit of care went a long way, and after a few days Bean was prepared to return home with her rescuers!
Bean kept getting better and finally became a whole different dog. From being unable to move at all to being bursting with life and vigor, Bean!
Her tummy was returned to a healthy size after a stomach-draining treatment, and her legs felt strong enough to support her.
We’re very happy Bean received the assistance she required. Sometimes all it takes for an animal’s life to alter irrevocably is for one good person to act.
