Hope For Paws received an urgent text on their emergency line about a stray dog who’d been hit by a car. When they arrived, they saw her hiding in a parking lot. It was obvious that her leg was broken, and she was in a lot of pain.
The dog was so hurt and scared that she decided to put up a fight. She didn’t know rescuers were there to help her. Eldad would have to convince her that she would be okay and encourage her to approach.
Arya quickly went from showing her teeth to feeling safe and secure in the lap of her rescuer. This is when she knew everything was going to be fine. At the hospital, it was confirmed that the dog had broken her femur. After a nice bath, she was fixed right up! 🙂
