Millions of dogs are killed each year in traffic accidents. The unfortunate part is that those who hurt and kill these defenseless animals show no remorse and carry on with their lives without offering any aid to the helpless creatures, even though it was they who were to blame for their suffering.

This poor little child was left on the roadside with his dying friend due to the negligence of another. The scene was truly horrible and tragic; the poor puppy was covered in blood, had a tearful face from the wounds, and was witnessing his friend die in front of him.

The mishap happened in a small Chinese city. An animal rescue team was contacted by a local person. The poor puppy was still sitting next to his friend when one of the volunteers hurried to the accident scene.

Right away, the volunteer examined the dying dog, but it was too late; the animal had already died. The small puppy didn’t appear to have any wounds, though, and seemed to be in good condition.

He brought the two along. After cleaning the puppy of blood and fleas, he washed him and gave him food and water.

He then brought him to the grave of his deceased friend. It was painful to watch.

The accident has left the puppy scared, but with love and care—which he will find in the shelter with people who dedicate their lives to helping and saving these lovely beings—he will recover.
