As an animal lover I will never understand how people can aƅanԀοn their pets as if they are trash.
Of course every case is different. Some people can love their animals deeply but it is impossible to take care of them but that is not a reason to dump your pet in the middle of nowhere.
In Abilene, Texas a poor pooch was not only dumped in a church parking lot but she had with her 9 new born little puppies.
The poor new dog mom has recently given birth and was left alone without food and water along with her 9 little ones.
On social media was posted the picture of the 5-year-old boxer mix mommy and her puppies and soon kind people started to get interested in adopting the sweet family.
“Dumped in the parking lot of an Abilene church. All Rescues are full to bursting. Foster needed asap. Please. Developing situation,” the post read.
Paw Angel Animal Rescue saw the happening and knew they had to help the sweet mom and her little ones.
“I saw the picture and it just broke my heart and I called Angel and we went and rescued the dogs,” said Misty Boerger.
Angel Urban and MIsty Boerger drove to the mom and her puppies put them on the backseat of the car.
“I just don’t know how someone could do that, leaving mamma and two-week-old babies,” Misty wrote .
The sweet dog mother, later named Dory, needed vet attention immediately.
“We found lots of wounds on her that were open and draining,” explained Angel.
The vet discovered a tumor in one of her puppy’s throats and unfortunately he had to be put down.
Misty realized that the little pooches needed around the clock care so she decided to keep them in for two weeks.
“Mom and puppies are safe now. They will be staying with me for two weeks and then move to a permanent foster.
“I saw the picture and it just broke my heart and I called Angel and we went and rescued the dogs,” said Misty Boerger.

“They will be placed for adoption after they have been spayed and neutered and mom is spayed…The smaller baby will need more attention and care and I can tube feed,” shared Misty appealing for donations to help the furry family.
A Facebook page was created to share the story of this brave furry mama and her little ones, the page was named “From Dumped to Diva: Dory’s story” the sweet mamma looks like a different dog now compared how she was after being dumped.We will always be grateful to the people who help animals, they are true heroes.
