Man Stops Car To Help Kitten All Alone and Gets Ambushed by Twelve More!

When Robert Brantley was heading to the shooting range after work one day he spotted a tiny kitten all alone by the side of the road.

He did what any kind person would do and stopped to help as he could see that the kitten was very young and felt that the poor thing probably wouldn’t make it through the night.

He said: “my wife has been wanting a cat for the farm, so I figured I’d stop and rescue the thing.”

But what happened next was something that completely unexpected.

He decided to video the rescue on his phone and as soon as he picked up the kitten, another six came bounding out of the bushes by the side of the road toward him.

“Oh my gosh, there’s more!” he exclaimed on the video. “I can’t take you all.”

But that wasn’t all! As he was being “ambushed” by the kittens, more started running out of the bushes toward him.

“We’ve got a kitten problem,” said Robert. “Who would do this?”

He realised that he couldn’t leave the kittens behind. “I thought I was saving one. Hot Diggity dog!”

This is definitely a kitten ambush!

He then began to try and get all the kittens into his car. Each time he would get one in, two would jump out

In the end he kept the door shut and began to funnel the kittens into the car via an open window.

Since posting the videos on social media they have all gone viral and Robert has received much praise from all over the world for saving the kittens.

“Thank you to all those offering to help,” he posted on Instagram. “I’m working on getting them all a good home! The kids are loving on them in the meantime and we’re fattening them up!”

As well as all the good advice, people also sent in kitten supplies.

“Thank you to all that reached out to give advice and help with supplies. Y’all are as much of a part of this as us!”

Robert has decided that he’s definitely keeping the first one he saw, now named Scout, and possibly a couple more.

“We had a lot of really good people that are local reach out wanting them, and a lot of people are wanting to do pairs to keep them together, which I’m pumped about,” he told the NY Post.

He goes on to explain that he’s being very careful about who adopts his precious kittens.

Way to go Robert!
