Don Chatten was walking his two dogs in Buffalo, New York City, on a very cold day when a lady suddenly came asked for assistance to find her canine.
He really did not even think for a second to help her but when he finally located the missing out on pooch, he noticed the risk and knew he needed to act quick.
The dog had fallen into cold water in Ellicott Creek Park and Don recognized he didn’t have much time if he was mosting likely to save her.
Waist-deep in icy water
According to WKBW Information, Don called 911 however fearing they may be far too late, and decided to save the canine himself.
He tried to walk across the ice, however it gave way diving him waist-deep into the cold water. “I recognized it had not been actual deep in this part since I used to find here when I was a kid,” Don said.
The shivering dog was then required to the veterinarian to be checked out, according to the news station.
