Hope For Paws received a call about a tiny abandoned dog in a desert town, but she was very scared of men. But these rescuers had a trick for that. The dog had been hanging around one house for weeks where the people were feeding her, so Eldad and Loreta went in for the rescue.
Eldad stayed back with the camera as Loreta approached with food, and the distraction with the cheeseburger worked like magic! Loreta was able to safely grab the pup and place the Lucky Leash around her neck. They named her Sheena.
Sheena was taken to the hospital to receive medical care. Then she continued on to a foster home with Smooch Pooch Dog Rescue. But it wasn’t long after that when they found her a loving forever home! Sheena seems to be completely over her fear of men. 🙂
