July 4th weekend is a scary time of the year for dogs. Even the most obedient and loving pet can become terrified at the sound of fireworks and run away from home. Every year, thousands of pets go missing because of this — and many are never reunited with their families. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case here.
A man noticed a scared pit bull hiding under his car and called Hope For Paws. At first, the dog didn’t realize they were there to help. But after a few minutes, the dog came around and showed his loving side. His microchip made finding his family an easy thing! 🙂
