Thumper is the offspring of a ho.meless cat found in North Carolina, USA when he was born without a tail and with spine problems. The other kittens are healthy, and the family has found their homes, but the kitten without a tail requires special care to improve his quality of life.

When he was born looking like a Manx cat, his family contacted Sparkle Cat Rescue for help. Stephanie Grantham, the co-founder of the shelter, stated: Because Manx kittens have difficulty in the rear section due to vertebral deformity, strengthening the hind legs is vital in their growth.

He will receive plenty of love and care

Thumper is given a lot of hot baths, as well as adequate medical care to help him recover and avoid various infections, as well as rehabilitation exercises to help him grow normally. They also taught the tailless cat an unusual trick: jump with its hind legs, as if he were a rabbit.

Regardless, Thumper is always cheerful, he enjoys bouncing around the room chasing objects. He’s a sweet cat who has no idea he has a problem; all he wants to do is cuddle with his human companion and sleep on his lap.
