Judo suffered multiple fractures in his leg due to a vehicular accident. Luckily, RRSA India stepped in to help. Itโs not uncommon for dogs to sustain multiple fractures after being hit by a car or experiencing severe trauma.
Judo seemed to be experiencing discomfort in his leg, but his cheerful wagging tail showed how confident he was. Despite being a small dog, Judo had the strength of an eagle.
Unfortunately, this brave pup suffered multiple fractures in his leg, as revealed by his blood test and X-ray results. To avoid infection, we quickly stabilized Judo using intravenous fluids, antibiotics, and pain relievers.
We brought him to a top-notch veterinary center that had advanced surgical tools. The veterinarian made the decision to perform a leg amputation because of the likelihood of infection and circulation problems.
We prepared him for surgery by wrapping a bandage around him to stabilize the fracture and alleviate his discomfort. He had multiple fractures and severe cuts.
Regrettably, it was too late to save his leg, and the veterinarian advised amputating it to prevent further complications such as infection and blood flow issues.
Weโre keeping our fingers crossed for a speedy recovery after the surgery, as he really deserves another chance to bounce back.
