Hope For Paws learned of a small dog who was abandoned in a lumberyard with all of her belongings in the trash on site. This indicated that someone had purposely dumped her to fend for herself in a sad twist to her life. Loreta and JoAnn set out for rescue.
The industrial area was large, so they had to search. The workers said the dog would come out for food, but they would still have to work on gaining her trust. After a few moments, the rescuers were able to accomplish this and put the Lucky Leash on her! 🙂
They named her Shania and continued on their way to C.A.R.E.S. for a much-needed bath. The dog didn’t have a microchip, so she went on to be fostered by L.A. Animal Rescue. You can apply with them if you’d like to adopt this sweet dog!
