We already have heard several stories about poor dogs that suffered from cold and kind places that opened their doors for them, but apart from the cold dogs are susceptible to high temperatures too and in one extremely hot day one store allowed a dog to get inside and cool down.
In Mexico it was a terribly hot day with 104ยฐF temperature, and a local street dog paid a visit to a market where he also showed several other days.
โHe has been here the past [few] days,โ the storeโs clerk said, according to The Dodo. โWe suspect he was left behind by his owner. He came to us for help.
โWe could only provide him with food, water and some toys from the store that we paid with our money.โ
But on this extremely hot day they went further and decided to let the dog inside to cool off.
The pooch enjoyed getting away from the sun. In fact , he was so comfortable that he just laid down right on the aisle floor to take a nap.
โWe let him inside because the temperature outside is really hell-like,โ the clerk said. โWe feel bad for him, but he looks happier around the store.
And the clerksโ kindness was simply contagious: a customer named Adolfo Pazzi Ahumada, that was inside the market for some milk, decided to buy the sweet pooch a treat.
โI felt bad for what the dog has passed through,โ Adolfo told The Dodo. โBut he is now receiving the love he deserves.โ
Extremely thankful to this store for opening the doors for the sweet dog. We need more people like this.
