โIt took Lisa Chiarelli and I two hours to get to the location, and what we saw was h.o.r.r.i.f.y.i.n.g. Dennis was on the ground, unable to move, and was covered with ticks.โ
They rushed him to hospital and began cleaning him up. Lisaโs dog, Lola, was rushed to the hospital so she could donate blood for Dennis because he was suffering severe anemia. They worked hard to save himโฆ..
โFor the next 5 days Dennis was seen by neurologists, cardiologists, and internal medicine specialists, but all of this was not enoughโฆโ said Eldad. โDennis was too far gone, and his body was shutting down.โ
โNot all rescues have happy endingsโฆ itโs important to understand that! Dennis was neglected somewhere for a long time, and no one spoke for him.
