An LAPD deputy called Hope For Paws after she noticed some kittens tumbling down a hill by a busy freeway. JoAnn Wiltz and Katie McKittrick set out to rescue the little family and found them huddled up in a bush. All of the branches made it very difficult to reach them.
One by one the little kitties would have to be carefully pulled from their dangerous home. In all there were five kittens, some of them suffering from eye infections. They were quickly transported to the hospital to get cleaned up and receive some checkups.
Gopher, Squirrel, Chipmunk, Beaver, and Honey Badger got baths and were fed. The siblings went on to be fostered at Doggie Tahiti until they can be adopted. To adopt one, you can visit Let Them Be Little Feline Rescue. Hope For Paws is actively trying to catch the mother cat, but she’s been refusing to walk into a trap.
None of this would be possible without the supporting of Hope For Paws.
