Hope For Paws received a call about two kittens stranded in the L.A. river, and a huge storm was approaching. Some Good Samaritans spotted the kitties and knew exactly whom to call. The oncoming storm would flood the river, so rescuers had to act quickly.
They started by tossing food down to the kittens, and the cats were very interested. So they rigged up an elevator using a crate with food inside hoping to catch the kitties to pull them up to safety.
Rescuers slowly and carefully pulled the cats up, and they named them Chip and Dale! The timing was perfect with the rain on the way. The cats were taken back for some baths and checkups. Now happy and healthy, Chip and Dale were off to the Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats. 🙂
