Nelly Barajas was driving along when she spotted a cat on the freeway. She pulled over right away, and the cat knew to run under the car for safety. But then it climbed up inside and disappeared! It was dark and dangerous, but a police escort would allow her to slowly drive away from all of the traffic…
Hope For Paws showed up and were able to locate the cat in the fender. But by the time they took that apart, the little one had relocated under the hood. They popped it to find the kitty in the engine bay, and a gentle snare was now the only option. The terrified cat could now begin to relax a bit as they headed back to the animal hospital. They named her Lizzie, and she’s in good hands to start her new life! 🙂
