Moet was born in 2008 in Oman, and from just a few weeks old, was taken to the “pet shop”, a terrible place where fluffy kittens were mistreated. Then, she had bad flu, which made the mean people here neglect her in horrible hunger, thirst, filthiness, cold, and discomfort.

The poor kitty got sicker and sicker. Eventually, after six years of suffering, she lost her sight forever. Her world was miserable, and she lay down to find eternal sleep. Suddenly and abruptly, Moet was carried away to a new place where she never imagined she could arrive.

Moet’s eyes were removed at a vet hospital, where she got vaccinated and received treatments later. Six days after the surgery, her destined mom, Emily Shotter, said hi to the kitty. The kind and warm lady encouraged and comforted Moet. For the first time, the cat knew what love was.

Since September 2014, Moet has been with her furever family, two other meowing siblings: Luna and Kuro, and 2020 rescued Lily. Now, Moet is a happy, playful cat who loves to tease Luna and curl up in some corners. She is also a symbol of fortitude shared in cyberspace.
